What on Earth is E-cycling?

E-cycling is a fun term for recycling electronic equipment. Electronics usually include computer equipment, but can also include battery back-ups, printers, televisions (including older console televisions), toner cartridges, modems, routers, cell phones, hard drives, and servers.

There has been a tremendous increase in electronics in our society, and with that a desire for smaller, faster, cooler. Consumer Electronics Association Market Research shows, "Americans own approximately 24 electronic products per household." This results in thousands of pounds of electronics being disposed of every year.

With the upgrade to digital television, we are also seeing an increase in recycling and disposal of older tube televisions. It is important to dispose of televisions in a safe manner that will not harm the environment.

GreenTek completely de-manufactures (or takes apart) all equipment as much as possible - reducing it to its bare elements. We then take the separate components to be properly recycled and reused.
